Temperature sensors of the V/U...a system are used to measure the temperature of gaseous or liquid process media in mechanical and plant engineering. 
The V/U...a series offers a wide range of resistance thermometers and thermocouples as built-in sensors for welding, screwing or flanging into technical vessels or piping systems.

In addition to the temperature probes, the type series includes measuring inserts which are intended for installation in sealed metal fittings and in this installation constellation determine the temperature of the medium to be measured.

Measuring range:

  • -40...+1200°C (depending on the sensor element used and the design selected)

Measuring tip:

  • from Ø3 mm

Individual selection:

  • of measuring inserts, process connections and protection tubes for the respective installation conditions

Connection types:

  • connection head or connection box with/without transmitter, connector

Special designs:

  • tapered probe tips to optimise response time
  • highly vibration-resistant screw-in thermometers for applications with heavy mechanical loads
  • thermometer with test channel (ppr version) for process control during operation
  • screw-in thermometer with separable neck tube
  • coating of the immersed or media-contacting protective tube area with a non-conductive coating (non-stick coatings and corrosion protection)
